Purpose Driven Publishers (PDP)

At Purpose Driven Publishers, we are committed to helping authors bring their message to the world with excellence, integrity, and clarity. Our goal is to make the publishing journey straightforward, transparent, and professionally managed from beginning to end.

The following guidelines outline the basic framework under which we work with authors. Every publishing project proceeds under a formal Author–Publisher Agreement, which provides full details of the working relationship.

Author Ownership & Copyright

The author retains full ownership and copyright of their manuscript and intellectual property at all times.

Purpose Driven Publishers does not claim ownership of the author’s content. The author remains the legal copyright holder and maintains long-term rights to their work.

PDP is granted a non-exclusive license to prepare, produce, and distribute the book under the Purpose Driven Publishers imprint through approved print-on-demand and retail platforms.

The Role of Purpose Driven Publishers

Purpose Driven Publishers provides professional publishing services to prepare a manuscript for publication and distribution. Depending on the selected publishing package, services may include:

• Professional interior formatting and layout
• Cover design or cover preparation
• ISBN assignment
• Print-ready file preparation
• Publishing setup and distribution configuration
• Electronic proof for final review

Our mission is to ensure that each book published under the PDP imprint meets professional publishing standards.

Royalty Structure

Authors receive 75% of net royalties from book sales.

Purpose Driven Publishers receives 25% of net royalties to manage financial processing, royalty administration, and distribution management.

This includes responsibilities such as:

• Processing of royalty payments
• Bank transaction fees
• Currency conversion charges
• Financial reconciliation and reporting
• Administrative oversight of distribution platforms

Royalty statements are provided periodically in accordance with the Author–Publisher Agreement.

Publishing Timeline

The typical publishing process may take up to 45 days or less, depending on the readiness of the manuscript and the responsiveness of the author during the review and approval stages.

Our process is designed to move efficiently while maintaining professional quality and accuracy.

Production Files Provided to Authors

Upon completion of the publishing process, authors receive:

• Final print-ready PDF of the interior layout
• Final print-ready PDF of the cover

These files are provided for the author’s records and approved promotional purposes.

The official published edition produced under the Purpose Driven Publishers imprint constitutes the official PDP edition.

Distribution & Print Platforms

Books published through Purpose Driven Publishers are prepared for distribution through approved print-on-demand platforms and retail channels.

This allows books to be printed and shipped efficiently while remaining available to readers internationally.

Purpose Driven Publishers specializes in print publishing and does not publish eBooks.

Author–Publisher Agreement

Before a publishing project begins, each author receives a formal Author–Publisher Agreement outlining the complete terms and conditions of the publishing partnership.

This agreement provides detailed information regarding:

• publishing services
• author rights
• royalty structure
• responsibilities of both parties
• production and distribution framework

All publishing projects proceed only after the author reviews and approves this agreement.
